Ai 77° Bafta Awards, i maggiori riconoscimenti del cinema britannico assegnati ogni anni dalla British Academy of Film and Television, trionfo previsto per Oppenheimer, che porta a casa ben 7 statuette. Miglior film, regia a Christopher Nolan, attore a Cillian Murphy ed attore non protagonista a Robert Downey Jr, tra gli altri.
Miglior attrice protagonista è Emma Stone per Povere Creature, mentre alle sceneggiature (originale e non) la spuntano rispettivamente Anatomia di una caduta e American Fiction. Tre Bafta anche a La zona d’interesse, che porta a casa riconoscimenti come miglior film britannico, miglior film internazionale e miglior suono.
