L’Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences ha svelato i venti titoli che il prossimo 23 Gennaio si contenderanno un posto nella cinquina finale per la statuetta i migliori effetti visivi; dopo la seguente shortlist, una commissione speciale dell’Academy scremerà suddetta lista soli dieci titoli.
Tanti i titoli presunti che faranno la parte del leone nella categoria tecnica, da Blade Runner 2049 a The War – Il pianeta delle scimmie, fino a passare per i lavori più autoriali di Okja e Dunkirk. Fuori dalla shortlist film come It, Downsizing e Madre!.
