A meno di un mese dalle attese nomination agli Emmy Awards, il meglio del piccolo schermo americano del 2016-2017 è onorato e celebrato dalle candidature della Television Critics Association, l’associazione di critici televisivi più ampia ed influente negli Usa.
A dominare le loro cinquine è la HBO con 12 nomination totali, a cui segue con 11 menzioni FX e a seguire Netflix con 10; ma a totalizzare il maggior numero di menzioni per serie è The Handmaid’s Tale di Hulu e Atlanta di FX.
Seguono con tre nomination la miniserie HBO Big Little Lies, il prodotto FX Feud: Bette and Joan e il fenomeno Netflix Stranger Things.
I vincitori daranno svelati il 5 Agosto durante una cerimonia che si terrà al Beverly Hilton Hotel di Los Angeles.
