‘The Handmaid’s Tale’ e Carrie Coon trionfano ai Television Critics Association Awards

La Television Critics Association ha assegnato ieri, con una cerimonia presentata dalla cantante e attrice Kristin Chenoweth, l’edizione 2017 dei riconoscimenti assegnati al meglio del piccolo schermo americano nell’annata 21016/2017.

A trionfare è stato, un po a sorpresa, il fenomeno Hulu The Handmaid’s Tale che trionfa con i due riconoscimenti come programma televisivo dell’anno e serie drammatica dell’anno, ma a mani vuote ne esce la sua protagonista Elizabeth Moss, preferita alla “doppia” Carrie Coon per The Leftovers e Fargo. Nella sezione comedy domina invece Atlanta e il suo creatore e protagonista Donald Glover, nelle miniserie premio dovuto a Big Little Lies.
Difficile capire se questi risultati possano presagire sorprese inaspettate ai prossimi Emmy Awards di settembre.
